Gosh what a week it's been, so many changes, so many possibilities each day, there's so much life to be had out there!

Thank you to everyone who stops by here and to all the lovely comments I think I may have stumbled there for a second into the murky pool of depression,
Or maybe I just dipped my toe in for a tester and decided no I like it here on my little island, filled with crochet and knitting and children and day dreams!

This week has seen me pottering in between baby groups and school runs, I know I should have been more productive but I've been slowly figuring things out, I'm changing, hopefully for the better, I know who I want to be!

I've potted parsley in an old tea pot because I think it looks so pretty, All floppy with delicate little heads, a rainbow of greens tucked into one old teapot.

Playing with bunting I brought from Faded Grace

Walking to take Sammy swimming, stopping to look back, this is one of my favourite views, you can see the church and the quirky little roofs all jumbled, and it feels so nice knowing just beyond, the pebbled beach and sparkly sea are waiting.

I always think that if you took away the cars it could be any year, I could see picnics, and grass cuttings, vegetable patches, and depending which way you look it's possible to travel with your dreams to the creek to the left, the allotments and stream to the right, the hills and rolling trees. It looks so English I think.

Lipstick hunting, my never ending quest for the perfect 1940s red

Eggs for lunch, with home grown salad and mugs of tea

And more garden pottering,

Bringing outside in,

Joshy picked me some mint from the garden just because it smelt so nice, I think this week end I'm going to make mint tea, and also there are tons of stinging nettles sneakily poking their little faces out on the way to the stream I may try nettle tea too!
And when all is quiet some beachy stripey knitting!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I've been visiting lots of blogs but not much time for comments I'm so sorry, hoping to change that next week

hellooo lovely one, i sooo enjoy your postings and a lot of how you feel i feel it too...its making the most of what you have and making it a happy bubble to be in ;0)
sorry i dont comment often, but i do pop by often and soooo enjoy your blog x
Aren't you an incredible woman? I popped over here because Maria had mentioned your previous post (as an incentive to honesty) and I read this one, and then your last one, and 'incredible' is the word that springs to mind.
Blogging is a lovely way to make the best of our lives and move forward, and I really think your honesty and willingness to analyse your life and move onwards show how we can grow through our blogs. My life had some elements similar to yours (feeling 'judged' and maybe a bit obsessive, and having a sad son, in particular) and I know that blogging and my blogging friends have really helped me to identify those things and move on past them.
How lovely to plant parsley in an old teapot....I love that idea! Such a positive post, showing so many of life's simple pleasures...the best kind.
Hope you have a happy weekend.
