I have a new love, an old fashioned, home made, porridge and jam sandwiches kinda love,
It's Abney and Teal, a lovely programme on cbeebies. I love the narrated stories and the music, but most of all I love the images. Look at the jar and the china above, I snapped this straight from the telly so it's a little blurred I'm sorry!
Teals patchwork quilt looks like its made from ticking and old faded shirts and big slices of summery childhoods,
Reading in the park with his little light, the rainbow striped umbrella which was filled with wool a few scenes back,
Here's some clearer images from the BBC
Whilst I was day dreaming about blue and white china, and porridge picnics on my little island in the city park I stumbled upon the most amazing photos,
I followed the link, tip toeing along through blog land, down a magical winding lane until I found Fay's blog and her hand made Abney and Teal are so gorgeous and sweet and just as I dreamed an Abney doll should be, take a look at Fays photos,
Oh I love them!!! I really wish they were mine! I've checked with Faye and she doesn't mind if I shamelessly copy them, although mine won't be half as good, Fay is so talented, two cups of tea later and a lot of drooling over Fays makes had left me so inspired!
I've always fancied living in Greendale (postman pat), doing my yoga with the piplings (waybuloo) and visiting the island of sodor (Thomas) for a holiday but now I think I've found a new place to spend my days!! Thank you cbeebies, and thank you Fay for letting me borrow your fab photos!
