Hello did you have a nice summer holiday? we had a lovely time, there was blackberry picking, sea shell collecting, old steam trains, village fairs, wig whams, vintage markets, baking, crafts, harbour watching, wool shops and book shops, cafes for foamy lattes, and on Monday night AandE for squished feet!

and so I've been sofa bound for three days under a sea of bright crochet stripes and green gate florals tea and iPad my constant companions, it sounds like heaven dosen't it but the reality is it hurts and I can't get to far when I do manage to get up, I can't knit until the evenings as my boys keep stumbling dangerously near my poor swollen toes which are raised like the princess and the pea on layers of ditsy floral cushions, I did manage to get a sock on my foot today yippie! He he!!
all of these photos and patterns are from http://tinyowlknits.wordpress.com I think I'm going to make them all one by one!Little foot note:
I hope I'm ok to use these photos could't find a note not too, also I can't get bloggers spell check to work and also bits of my post keep going missing so my spelling and text may be a little bit wonky!

glad you had a wonderful summer.
hope your feeties/toes gets better x
i feel for you as ive had hip operations (last one in my teenage years) and it seemed 'bliss' to my friends thinking it was great putting my feet up, but simple things like stairs and getting up would be so painful- i had to rely on friends and family so much i found it so liberating and exciting when i finally got back on my feet! ;0)x
Oh poor you. I hope your foot is better soon. Samuel said "What is that?" when he saw the first photo and then proceeded to say "That's so cool". Praise indeed from a 14 yr old.
Hope you and all your boys are well. Take care :0)
Oh poor you. Hope your foot gets better soon and you can run around with the boys again.

sounds very painful, lovely blog and l blanket , i love anything patchworky if there is such a word!
Best wishes to you for continued foot recovery. Meanwhile, you do have a lovely spirit in this post, and I know many folks like me will love the images, and the link to the other site.
The air here in New York is getting cooler as the nights grow ever longer, and knitting is becoming more and more appealing. xo
Bad luck - feet are a nightmare when they get bashed! I once stubbed my toe on a cat's scratching-post and it took weeks to get better. I felt so silly when people asked why I was limping :-D.
Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry I missed this post, computer issues, and haven't left a message sooner. Hope are you my dear Fliss? Sounds like the summer was full of fun. Lovely gloves, robins are my favourite, remind me of my dad.
