Nearly feeling better after months and weeks and long hours in such pain it all comes down to one little ingredient, Wheat, looking back it seems wheat has been plaguing me for years, this last month I have never felt so ill, I'll spare you the gory details!
Nearly finished my little back door curtain,
Nearly decided which ribbon tie I liked best,
Nearly got it to my sewing machine before Mr Gruffalo came in and declared it silly! Husbands!
Nearly got my little kitchen shelf peachy perfect,
Nearly the last flowers from the garden,
Nearly making me cry seeing my boys play together,
nearly one, where has this year gone?

glad removing wheat has made you feel so much better, I know when I stopped eating it I felt like a whole new person, take care x
A lot of people suffer from wheat allergies. I'm so glad you figured out what it was. That baby has the chubbiest cheeks!
Well I love your back door curtain, I think it looks really nice. Your boys are beautiful, time whizzes by so fast doesn't it?
I do like this "nearly" topic, and wish you well.
Isn't it odd that nowadays many folks are discovering that wheat is not kind to them? After all, it's been a mainstay to many culture's diets for so, so long. I wonder how many folks had unexplained illness and pain during those past centuries.
It's great that you and your family can now sort out various menus and all be happier in the outcomes.
Now, about that curtain, I think it's charming, but I will leave its future to the local referendum.

Your boys are so cute, it's amazing how your children can reduce you to tears (in the nicest way) I love your back door curtain too. I hope your health comes back very quickly once you get rid of the wheat out of your diet.

It seems unimaginable that something we eat can cause so much pain and illness.........my daughter was hospitalised at the age of ten, then spent the next two years at home, unable to attend school and being taught at home by a teacher from the hospital, she was barely able to walk somedays due to the pains all over her body, the allergies even changed her personality and she became withdrawn, emotional and angry, it was a very frightening time for all of us as we didn't know what was wrong with her, we were even referred to a child physcologist..........eventually she was diagnosed with nut, wheat and gluten allergies.........at seventeen she is now healthy and happy, although she still has to carry an epipen for her nut allergy..........it does take a fair few weeks, sometimes even months before you really start to feel better, here's hoping you return to good health soon.
take care, lily x
