not blogging, but ...

knitting,
I had to unpick this swallow tale shawl soooooo many times but finally its finished! It sits softly waiting to be blocked, I'm a beginner knitter really and haven't blocked before, or knitted anything like this!

playing with my boys, reading, snuggling, rolling, blowing raspberries!

arranging pretty spring bunches and baking banana cake,

pottering in the kitchen,

making royal wedding cup cakes for garden parties,

filling spotty egg cups and starry cups with tea, sunny runny eggs and buttery toast cut into soldiers, my favourite!

more baking just for us, using up all my rations on Jane B's chocolate cake from 'cherry cake and ginger beer' - it reminded me of my Nan's chocolate cake, so yummy!

finding pink glass in a local charity shop,

and my newest knitting, Cath coloured stripes for a cushion or a scarf, I can't quite decide which!

Hello,

Just discovered your blog, your pictures are lovely. Like the stripey knitting project - I'm sure it will be great when done.

No one likes actual banana's in our house but my husband says he like banana flavoured things such as muffins so may have a go at making a banana loaf one day soon. x

Have a lovely weekend.

It looks great to me! I haven't got into blocking yet. I always seem to flatten it or felt it, so I tend to leave it crumply and soft. liking the stripes too. Hope pains have gone. take care.x
