It's a lovely spring morning, sunny and bright. As my sleep heavy eyes opened, slowly peering around dappled sun painted walls and flowery eiderdowns I felt a little lift. The cherry tree pink and fluffy like someone has glued pastel pink cotton wall onto chocolate brown twigs stood waving between the white panelled frames of our little cottage window.
Days like this make me want to drive down swirling country lanes in an open topped old classic car, with a floppy hat and checked picnic rug, egg sandwiches and a cold bottle of elderflower pressee. Sitting on the beach crochet or sketching, reading or knitting, stopping at a pub for a cold drink before driving home in time to pick little boys up from school! Blissful!
These baby blues are being packed away and shipped off far away, return to sender because I've got lots to show you, cross stitch, crochet, vintage china, a vintage Mabel Lucie Attwell show and tell, a vintage doggie, cs finds, cath goodies, spring flowers and more tea loaf baking!
